John A. Kivus, DMD

South Portland Maine dentist John A Kivus DMD

Dr. Kivus returned to Auburn after graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in 1975 and receiving his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1979. He started his family general practice treating patients of all ages for 25 years. He transitioned his office to South Portland in 2004 where still continues to offer his patients restorative, reconstructive and esthetic dental treatment. In addition to running Gannett Drive Dental, in 2016 he joined the teaching staff at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

Dr. Kivus and his wife, Linda, live in Scarborough and are the parents of two children, John (a law partner in Raleigh, NC where he lives with his wife, Elyssa) and Elizabeth ( a periodontist and owner of Steel City Implants and Periodontics in Vestavia Hills, AL, where she lives with her husband Brett, and two children, Ellen and Reed).
